Why us

VLE Support Ltd is a company founded and run by teachers in order to supply broad-based consulting services in the field of ICT.

In an age where young people's lives are so heavily reliant on technology, it is essential that educational institutions embrace the impact technology can have on teaching and learning. As teachers ourselves, we understand how positively students can react to educational technology, and as such our products focus on the experience of the learner. However, we also understand the many challenges faced by teachers, and aim to reduce the workload of staff by removing the need for cumbersome paper-based administration.

We are almost unique in being a one-stop shop for the sourcing, installation, implementation, maintenance and support of VLEs (primarily Moodle). We are a strong advocate for the use of open-source software for VLEs and provide extensive training to support those installing such systems or converting from costly commercial installations. The success of our web-based ILP, eTracker, reflects our expert understanding of how technology can be used to benefit students, teachers and managers, by lifting existing data records into an accessible and user-friendly interface.
