eTrackrilp Training Terms and Conditions

Selling eTrackrilp to Staff*

Who Should attend?

All staff who will be using eTrackrilp in any way.

Number of participants:

Up to 50

Course Overview:

These 2 hour sessions are intended to raise staff awareness as to what eTrackrilp is and what it can be used for. It allows all staff to get an overview of the product and to consider how they might use it to support them in their jobs. It is a trainer-led presentation and on-line demonstration outlining the features and benefits of eTrackrilp to the Learner, the College and Staff.

Course Duration:

3 x 2 hour sessions, which can be run in large groups.

Course Content:

  • What is eTrackrilp?
  • What are the benefits of using eTrackrilp?
  • How data is pulled in to eTrackrilp
  • Understanding the student page
  • How eTrackrilp tracks progress
  • Using Notes, Causes for Concern and Causes for Celebration
  • Action Plans and Target Setting
  • Progression Audits
  • Reports

User Training *

Who should attend?

Staff who will be using eTrackrilp to track and monitor learner progress and set targets.

Number of participants

Up to 15

Course Overview:

This course will allow users to understand the key functions of eTrackrilp relevant to teaching staff

Course Duration:

This is a 6-hour course that is trainer-led but provides hand-on workshops to ensure staff feel confident with using all the functions of eTrackrilp.

Course Content:

  • Overview of eTrackrilp
  • Finding students and courses
  • Creating Notes, Causes for Concern and Celebrations
  • Setting assessments and entering marks
  • Student Profile
  • Creating and editing Action Plans
  • Creating a Progression Audit
  • Completing and printing Subject Reviews
  • Running reports

Train the Trainer *

Who should attend?

Up to 3 Staff who have been selected to cascade eTrackrilp training or to become ‘expert’ users. These staff should be confident in their computer usage and have a full understanding of how eTrackrilp will be implemented across the College. This is an intensive course which allows the trainer to focus and give maximum attention to the attendees.

Course Overview:

This course is designed to be an intensive look at all the features of eTrackrilp and to support the attendees to consider how they will roll out a training programme across College. Due to the small group there will be opportunities to explore questions arising from the training and to be able to provide detailed support.

Course Duration:

This course will be 6 hours and will provide hands on work as well as facilitating discussions about methods to roll-out further training.

Course Content:

  • An overview of eTrackrilp
  • Understanding and assigning user permissions
  • Setting up courses and assigning staff
  • Creating Notes, Causes for Concern and Celebrations.
  • Setting assessments and entering marks
  • Student Profile
  • Creating and editing Action Plans
  • Creating a Progression Audit
  • Completing and printing Subject Reviews
  • Running reports

Super User/Administrator

Who should attend?

Those staff who will be assigned as the Administrator and will be setting up the course structure and providing support to other users. They should be confident computer users who have knowledge of curriculum.

Number of participants:

Up to 5

Course Overview:

This course shows users how to set up courses using the qualifications database and how to set up bespoke courses. It will look at common problems and issues that may arise and look at possible strategies and solutions. It will provide an in-depth exploration of all the features and functions of eTrackrilp to ensure that Administrators have an in-depth understanding to enable them to provide support to other users on how to use eTrackrilp to its full potential

Course Duration:

This is a 6-hour course that is trainer-led but provides hand-on workshops to ensure staff feel confident with all the functions of eTrackrilp.

Course Content:

  • Overview of eTrackrilp
  • Understanding and assigning user permissions
  • Setting up courses and assigning staff
  • Troubleshooting tips
  • Setting up Notes Categories
  • Configuring Traffic Lights
  • Running reports

Additional Information

This course can be combined with setting up specific courses on the college eTrackrilp system providing that the system has been installed and is operational and the data required for input is available.


Introduction to eTrackrilp for new teaching staff

Who should attend?

Staff who are new to the College and will be required to use eTrackrilp to track and monitor learner progress.

Number of participants:

Up to 15

Course Overview:

The trainer will require information from the College prior to this training on how they are currently using eTrackrilp in order to contextualise the training. The training will give an overview of the College’s policy for using eTrackrilp and allow those staff being trained to learn how to use the elements required for them to use eTrackrilp in their curriculum area.

Course Duration:

This is a 6-hour course that is trainer led but provides hand-on workshops to ensure staff feel confident with using all the functions of eTrackrilp and have an understanding of how eTrackrilp is used in the College.

Course Content:

This will be agreed prior to the training as it will be contextualised according to the College use of eTrackrilp. VLE Support will require a contact to work with in order to prepare this bespoke course.

Cost:

This course will be purpose written for you and will require 2 days planning and preparation and then delivery on-site. Please call to discuss.
