Exciting new developments in eTracker

VLE are soon to launch a new version of eTracker, which will contain some very exciting new features…
eTracker will soon contain pre-loaded course data, negating the need to set up courses manually (although manual set-up will still be available). We are also currently finalising a deal with bksb, which will allow data relating to bksb assessments also link in automatically to the eTracker interface.
On top of this extra functionality, the navigation in eTracker will be given a serious facelift. The menus will be reorganised so they become more user-friendly, with terminology more clearly describing the function of each section, and certain menu options will be hidden from view, depending on the status of the user (student, tutor, administrator etc.). There will also be some additional modifications to the navigation to make it easier to navigate between certain pages.
We will also be introducing some additional functionality in the Action Plans section and to make Students’ Own Targets more visible to students and tutors.
We are working on all of these modifications as quickly as we can, and hope that the new version will be available for release in April 2010.
