eTracker hits the conferences!

 Following a busy summer of sales, VLE Support are set to continue their promotion of eTracker at a series of educational conferences.

They are first travelling to the RSC eLearning Fair at Mid Kent college on the 28th October. This conference offers a series of workshops, talks and exhibitions about how innovative technology can continue to flourish within FE, in the midst of government spending cuts to the FE Sector.

They will then be exhibiting at The Skills Conference in The East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham on 2nd November. This conference is being organised by bksb, now in partnership with eTracker – this will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about the proposed integration between eTracker and bksb’s market-leading Basic and Functional Skills tests.
Following on from this, VLE Support will be building on their successful debut appearance at last year’s AoC Conference, by returning to this year’s event at a premium stand right next to bksb. This event takes place on November 16th , 17th and 18th at the ICC in Birmingham.

In the context of heavy budget cuts, what role can eTracker play in helping FE colleges to thrive? The whole ethos of the product is to engage learners with their progress and achievements, while saving teachers time. The teaching and learning process can be made much more efficient, as teachers spend less time administering cumbersome paper-based forms. Using a system such as eTracker can significantly raise the profile of a college amongst parents and students, and set a college apart from other learning providers in the area. The ease of gathering statistics from eTracker can be used by senior managers to easily track performance management within their college, highlighting areas of strength and allowing additional support to be offered to weaker departments.

eTracker continues to provide a very cost-effective solution. While some products are charged on a per-user basis, eTracker continues to be sold on a licence-only basis, meaning that all students in a college can use the product at no additional cost. The pricing structure for eTracker allows colleges to pick and choose different features, creating a solution for every budget.
