eTracker now has a new module for colleges who run WBL or T2G courses. Although these courses can be complex, with different components and qualifications contributing to course completion, eTracker has been adapted so that students’ progress towards the WBL qualification can be tracked online. The weightings of the different components can be manually changed within eTracker, providing a highly flexible and versatile tracking tool.
eTracker now has the flexibility to cover the full range of learning programmes, making effective use of assessment to not only track a learner’s progress but also to encourage them to engage in critical self-assessment. It gives colleges the ability to capture information on each learner relating to academic and pastoral achievements as well as addressing equality and diversity issues, and share that information with relevant people from tutor to student to employer.
The employer has access to the system to monitor their employees as they progress through the course. This is set up within the interface of eTracker. Likewise with the External Verifiers. They can be provided with access to the system to carry out the activities needed to carry out their verification.
All parties using this component of the system can interact with the interface.
